I don’t remember a time I ever resented being black. But I remember as a little girl wanting Farrah’s hair, didn’t have to be blonde, nor as long I just loved her locks. The bounce and style of her hair.

In this 2009 image, we felt her time here on earth was getting short, yet she still looked amazing and her hair, flawless and she showed great strength all the way to the end.

I remember I was at work an I walked into the lobby a CNN was announcing that Farrah Fawcett had passed. I froze, and listened to the CNN announcer as images and details scrolled across the screen. I remember Ms. Farrah Fawcett for her beautiful locks and her even more beautiful  lovely bright smile. R.I.P. Farrah, Gone way too soon.
