QUEKnowYourHistory moment is on Wilton Norman “Wilt the Stilt Man” Chamberlain was the man many Basketball players strived to be. Born August 21, 1936 in Philly Mr. Chamberlain would grow to stand over 7 feet tall. Before Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Karl the Mailman Malone, and the list goes on there was Wilt Chamberlain. Mr. Chamberlain was the first to raise the NBA score to 100 points scored by an individual person. He scored many points with the ladies off the court too. On October 12, 1999 Mr. Chamberlain died but many years later and many years to come Mr. Chamberlain’s legacy lives on.
