I ask Black Women are they paying attention, but really this applies to anyone who is raising young Black girls who will one day become Black Women. Black men who are raising their daughter, White men and or women, who are raising Black girls, or any other minority for that matter. I just want to let our young girls know regardless of where you come from, how much money your family had or didn’t have, if you lived in a mansion or a run down subsidized home with lead based paint, you too can become successful and live a drug and criminal free life. You too can get an education and improve your quality of life. I love being a Black Woman!!! I believe as Black Women it is our job, our calling, our civil duty, our career to encourage not just our own Black little girls but all young Brown minority girls to love themselves and to embrace being the young Women they were created to be. Life isn’t always about where you come from but where you are at and where you are going. Look at these successful women below. Different backgrounds, yet all Black all successful women leading their community, one is also leading the United States of America Attorney General’s Office. Dream big and live the dream.
