Good Morning. Can you believe Hip Hop is almost 50 years old? I know I can’t. Hell, I’m having a hard time believing in just over a year, I’ll be 50 years old but we’ll talk about that another day. How old were you when Hip Hop was created? I was about 6 months old.

I was at least 6 years old the first time I heard a rap song. The first Rap song I recall ever hearing was Rapper’s Delight by Sugar Hill Gang. Mannnnnn, I was hooked. This song was like 7 minutes long and learning all the words was goals and eventually an achievement. My older siblings probably scratched their albums multiple times from playing it so much. What was the first Rap song you heard? Do you still listen to Hip Hop?
